Hello and Welcome, Friends!
I'm so grateful that you found your way to my website! I am an individual committed to fostering collective autonomy and personal sovereignty for all peoples and communities through advocacy, accountable artistry, and engaged pedagogy practices. I am a firm holder of the belief that our personal and collective Cultures, History, Ancestry, and the Stories born of these influences are not only instrumental to our experiences as human beings, but that these elements must be treated with honor, integrity, and the utmost respect.
In both my Teaching and Artistry, my main focus is to co-create environments of mutual respect, transparency, and confidence to help all parties involved reach our goals and express our unabashed selves. I strive to co-build foundations where all people are genuinely seen, heard, and understood for who they are. About Me: I was born and raised in the suburbs of Syracuse, NY before completing a B.F.A. in Music Theatre at Elon University. I moved to NYC in August 2018 and shortly thereafter booked the First National Broadway Tour of The Spongebob Musical helmed by the incomparable Tina Landau and the Original Broadway Creative Team. We toured North America for six months before coming to an abrupt stop in Denver, CO at the beginning of the COVID-19 shutdown. While on tour, I worked as a Swing covering 12 individual male and female tracks (including Pearl, Larry the Lobster, etc). This experience helped me realize that I'd been forcing myself to live within the gender binary as a subconscious means to sustain perceived "castability" in Theatre, and that doing so was destructive and extremely self-limiting to living a fully-realized and authentic life as a human both within and independent of the Industry. Therefore, taking this time away from performance, amongst a handful of other factors, jumpstarted me in realizing myself as an unaligned non-binary individual! I spent Quarantine exploring the limitless nature of identity through various means of expression ranging from writing a play about the nuance of 'coming out' to teaching and mentoring Queer-identifying teenagers with 'Rock the Audition'. I am so grateful to be living authentically and am dedicated to holding space for all aspects of myself and others. What's New??

I am wholly focused on holding passion and enjoyment at the root of everything we do, including pastimes that we are pressured to focus on competitively, such as Singing or Dancing. When our passions are obstructed by Fear, Shame, Guilt, etc., we are setting ourselves up to have emotionally and mentally abusive relationships with ourselves and our own Artistry - which is our birthright as human beings, not only reserved for the exceptionally talented! When we sing/dance/express ourselves for our own pleasure, we unlock pieces of our being that we may be completely consciously unaware of! ALL of this to say: I work with students of all abilities and ages (yes, including Adults!!) to develop the power of their expression whether it's just for the sheer FUN of it, or to fine tune and develop advanced technical focus of their instrument. I will joyfully and non-judgmentally meet you where you are NOW to accomplish any and all goals you have from effortlessly singing along with the radio to preparing for Collegiate study and beyond. It is my honor to give you the tools necessary to move on from our time together with a confident understanding of your own - individual - power and capabilities. P.S. This goes doubly for my fellow Genderqueer and/or Trans folks - please contact me about sliding scale rates for Gender-Affirming coaching! I am Currently... ACCEPTING NEW Students
